About Me

If you happen to be the type who reads the About Me section, bravo! I love to read about people, too, which is why I started this blog.  Now I have a forum to write about people: online and offline.

Why online? Because I love technology, social media and the online community available to  each of us who is willing to open up and engage in the conversation.

Why offline? Because the relationships we develop online are changed once interaction moves offline.  Each day we are offered more ways to communicate, and I am fascinated how  these new mediums change our interaction.

Technology certainly changes the way we communicate, but, don’t be fooled, we are still dealing with the same users: human beings, whose desire to connect is the single, simple, driving force underlying much of our engagement, both online and offline.

This blog is an invitation to ask questions, give feedback and provide your own insight.  I have a lot to learn, and I think each of us does, especially from one another. I am not shy, so please feel free to reach out.  I can take criticism, so sock it to me.  Let’s explore ideas together, and enjoy it while we go.

Thank you for taking the time to read about me.

    Hi Liza,

    Just stumbled on…

As you had retweeted my Fast Company piece (Market Research 3.0-Sentiment Analysis), I thought you might be interested in this recent story in the New York Times in which I was quoted… and perhaps other recent Fast Company pieces…
